Deputies: Woman's moving car apparently shot at by bb gun

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Someone apparently fired a bb gun at a moving car in Goose Creek Sunday night shattering the glass on one of the windows, according to Berkeley County sheriff's deputies.

The victim, who asked not to be identified said she was driving on Pine Shadow Drive about 8:15, when she realized something was wrong."

"I heard the window pop and I was afraid, so I grabbed my cell phone and I called 911," she recalled. "I drove up some because I didn't want to get shot for real you know."

She also thought about her children.

"I was afraid because my children could have been in the car. I could have gotten hit in my eye."

She's thankful to get away with damage only to the window, and she had a message for the vandal.

"It's not a joke, it's not a game. Stop it and when you do get caught I will be in court because you need to be in trouble."

Sheriff's deputies have not identified any suspects.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
