Coroner identifies body found in West Ashley motel room

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) -

Authorities have identified a woman's body found in a West Ashley motel room on Wednesday.

The Charleston County Coroner's Office says the body is of 47-year-old Theresa Frangos from the Charleston area. The coroner's office is currently doing tests to determine the cause of death.

Frangos' body was found by a maid at the Evergreen Motel on 1909 Savannah Highway around 10:40 a.m. 

A maid was making her rounds at the motel when she found the body inside a room she was entering to clean.
