CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police say they have arrested the man who robbed an employee outside of a Meeting Street clothing store last November.

Charleston Police Department investigators say 22-year-old Delvon Antonio Collins held an employee of Simply Fashion, located at 456 Meeting Street, at gunpoint during a robbery on the morning of Nov. 2.

Collins was also charged with the Thanksgiving Day murder of Herbert Harvey Jr. on America Street in 2010. According to Charleston County court records, Collins posted a $50,000 bond on April 1, 2011, and was released from the Charleston County Detention Center.

That trial has not yet gone to court.

Police say that during the November 2011 robbery, the employee was heading to the bank to make a deposit for the business when Collins arrived and forced her to give up the bag.

He is charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. A judge set his bond at $50,000 on Wednesday.
