Stratford's Ray Stackley Named Shrine Bowl Head Coach

Stratford Head Coach Ray Stackley has been named the Head Coach for the South Carolina team for the 76th annual Shrine Bowl it was announced on Thursday.

The game will take place on December 15th at Gibbs Stadium up at Wofford College. The Shrine Bowl is currently the oldest high school football all-star game in the country.

Stackley has been with the Knights for 27 years compiling a record of 249-92 to go along with 1 state championship. Last season, Stratford went 9-4 and reached the Quarterfinals of the AAAA Division II playoffs.

The coach will have his assistant Tony Smith on his staff in addition to Airport coach Kirk Burnett, Wade Cooper of Blue Ridge, Don Frost of Christ Church, Buford's Mike Wells and Bill Harvey of Newberry.
