SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -
Firefighters battled flames at a home on Terry Avenue in Summerville on Sunday afternoon.
No one was hurt, but six people, including one child, were left without a home. The Red Cross is providing them temporary shelter at a nearby hotel along with food and clothes.
Red Cross officials said the home in the Greenhurst Subdivision is destroyed.
Investigators are still looking for a cause of the fire.
