NORTH CHARLESTON, (AP) - South Carolina Rep. Tim Scott is helping to lead a job fair for veterans on the South Carolina coast.

More than 90 employers are expected to attend the event scheduled for Wednesday in North Charleston.

Scott represents the state's coastal First Congressional District, and he is encouraging veterans to bring their resumes and references.

Among the groups Scott is working with to help veterans are the local VA Medical Center, the City of North Charleston, state employment agencies, Trident Technical College and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
