SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -

Summerville Police are looking for 19-year-old Jason Latroy James. James is wanted on charges of burglary, kidnapping and armed robbery in connection with two incidents in Dec. 2011.

In the first case, James and others are accused of breaking into a home where kids were staying alone.

"They forced these kids into a closet at gunpoint, stole large quantities of cash and guns. There was a lot of stuff stolen out of the house," said Capt. Jon Rogers with the Summerville Police Department.

According to officers who responded to the scene, the victims were completely terrorized during the incident.

Investigators say less than a month after the first crime, James allegedly robbed two people at gunpoint outside the Icehouse restaurant. Rogers says James should be considered very dangerous.

"He's got a lot of weapons that were stolen out of the robbery and of course he already had a weapon as it is and by his own actions, he's not afraid to use them."

Police say James has family in the Summerville area and it's very possible he is hiding somewhere in the town. He stands 5'9" and weighs about 157 pounds.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111. You can remain anonymous and may earn a cash reward.
