ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
Orangeburg County deputies arrested two Santee teenagers and a juvenile in the burglary and fatal shooting on Hollis Road.
According to Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell, 19-year-old Gregory Kadeem Foye and 17-year-old Quinnshaun Larnel Fogle were arrested in the burglary of two Hollis Road residents and the fatal shooting of a man Thursday night. Deputies say a 16-year-old has also been detained in the same case.
Ravenell concludes "Deputy Damien Clinton, Investigator Lakesha Gillard, and Lt. James Shumpert are to be commended for their work in conducting this investigation and quickly making two arrests. The families of the victims can take comfort in knowing that the individuals responsible for these violent acts are in custody and will now be dealt with by the criminal justice system.
It is tragic that these young people are facing the possibility of spending the majority of their adult lives in prison and will forgo opportunities that so many young people look forward to. However, this should also serve notice to criminals that offenses committed in Orangeburg County will be aggressively investigated and arrests will be made."
An arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
