FOLLY BEACH, SC (WCSC) - Folly Beach public safety officers have arrested the man they say is responsible for an early-morning armed robbery in December.
Authorities say 23-year-old Corey Shane Coulter committed the robbery after jumping in front of a person driving a moped near the Exchange building on West Indian Avenue just before 7 a.m. Authorities say he stole a large amount of money before taking off into a nearby wooded area.
Coulter was arrested on Tuesday and taken to the Charleston County Detention Center before appearing in bond court where he was granted a $75,000 surety bond.
