South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is in Washington D.C. on Monday. The first-term Republican governor and other governors will be meeting with President Barack Obama.
On Sunday night, the president and first lady hosted a black tie dinner, which kicked off the National Republican Governor's Association winter meeting.
Obama says he and the governors won't always agree on every issue, but he looked forward to greater collaboration going forward.
