COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Deputies have arrested another one of Colleton County's "10 Most Wanted" suspects.
Sheriff George Malone said 19-year-old Xavier Holmes turned himself into the Colleton County Sheriff's Office at 1 p.m., one day after deputies thought they'd captured him at a home near Jacksonboro. Deputies said they responded to that home after receiving a tip from residents who saw Holmes' photo during an area newscast.
However, he narrowly escaped, before turning himself in on Monday.
It's the 5th suspect deputies have taken into custody since the sheriff's office released a list to media outlets in the Lowcountry. Deputies also arrested suspects on the list last Saturday, Thursday, and Wednesday.
Holmes is charged with failure to appear in court, armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent cime, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, and criminal conspiracy.
He is being held in the Colleton County Detention Center.
