Charleston man killed after vehicle overturns in Columbia

COLUMBIA, SC (WCSC) - The coroner's office has identified a 47-year-old Charleston man who died after his vehicle overturned in Columbia on Monday.

The Richland County Coroner's Office says Keith White Jr. died from his injuries in a collision on I-77.

According to authorities, White was driving near Bluff Road when his vehicle overturned around 2:45 p.m.

The coroner's office says that White was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. White was transported by EMS to Palmetto Richland Memorial and died from his injuries.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing the investigation.
