CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A 21-year-old woman was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly kicking and vandalizing the front door of a Charleston strip club while she was intoxicated.

Charleston police arrested Rashelle Louise Joyner, of North Charleston, after an employee at Jaguars Gentlemen's Club on Pittsburgh Avenue said she attempted to "hit or strike anyone in her path." She is charged with vandalism and public intoxication.

According to a police report, the incident began when Joyner became angry and aggressive when a DJ approached her for his tip money. Joyner was removed from the club, but began to kick the front door while wearing high heel boots.

A Jaguars Gentlemen's Club employee told police that Joyner caused large scrapes and smudges to the bottom glass panel on the door. The total damage was estimated at $200.

Police say Joyner then threw an ash tray at an employee's SUV. There was no visible damage, but police officers did find ash smeared all over the windows and one of the car doors.

Police located Joyner at a nearby gas station where she was unable to stand without help. According to the report, she had bloodshot eyes and a strong odor of alcohol coming from her.
