8 cited on drug charges after deputies crash party

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Deputies cited eight people on various drug charges on Tuesday after crashing a party in Garden City.

Members of the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office Intensified Criminal Enforcement (ICE) Team were on patrol when they reportedly heard yelling, loud music, and profanity coming from a home at 1018 South Waccamaw Drive.

When they spoke to the renter of the house, deputies said they immediately noticed a strong odor of marijuana. After obtaining a search warrant, deputies returned and seized about 36 grams of marijuana.

They issued 15 citations to:

  • Dupinder Singh, 29, of Leesburg, Virginia for simple possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • Roy Dean Pagans, 26, of Radford, Virginia for simple possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • Michael John Mosbach, 22, of Acton, Massachusetts for simple possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • Braden Allan Hite, 22, of Herndon, Virginia for simple possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • Morgan Tyner, 22, of Radford, Virginia for simple possession marijuana
  • Patrick Looms Keefe, 22, of Briston, Virginia for simple possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • Cooper Atwell Guncheo, 21, of Mechanicsville, Virginia for simple possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • Andrew Reed Hales, 20, of Warrenton, Virginia for simple possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia
