JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Power has been restored at Naval Health Clinic Charleston.
Officials say the main clinic, dental clinic and pharmacy will be back in business Friday morning. All appointments that have been scheduled for Friday will be kept as normal.
If your appointment was cancelled during the power outage, a representative from Naval Health Clinic Charleston will call you to reschedule your appointment. Patients whose appointments were canceled due to the outage will be given top priority, officials say.
"I would like to extend thanks to our patients for being so understanding during this unfortunate disruption of service," said CAPT Mary Kim Kenney-Gutshall, Naval Health Clinic Charleston Commanding Officer." "I would also like to send thanks to the 628th Medical Group at the Joint Base Charleston Air Base for stepping up to fill the void left by this power outage for the past few days."
The "central appointments line" has also been restored and is in service. Call (843) 794-6221 to schedule an appointment.
All of Naval Health Clinic Charleston's military, civilian and contractor staff will be expected to return to work on Friday at their regularly scheduled time.
