Shots fired into North Charleston Home

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police arrested a man early Saturday morning after shots were fired into a home.

Police were called to the house on Ridgebrook around 7:30 a.m. They found several bullet holes inside the home. No one inside was hurt.

Officers found a car matching the description of the suspect's car nearby on Dorchester Road and they found the driver walking away from his car. When he saw the police, he took off running but was caught a short time later.

Witnesses were able to identify the suspect driving away from the scene as the same man who was arrested on Dorchester Road.

23-Year-Old Jothan Deshawn Xavier Jones from Lincolnville is charged with discharging a firearm into a dwelling, unlawful carrying of a pistol and driving under suspension 3rd Offense.
