SC coastal park holds wildlife and history day

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - A South Carolina state park is marking St. Patrick's Day with a celebration of raptors and reptiles.

Huntington Beach State Park near Myrtle Beach is hosting the 18th annual Wildlife and History Day on Saturday

During the day, there will be demonstrations of raptors from the South Carolina Center for Birds of Prey, talks about mammals and snakes, beachcombing expeditions and tours to see alligators in their natural habitat.

There will also be ghost stories with tales about the South Carolina coast.
