CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The trial for a suspect accused of killing a man after pouring beer on him began on Tuesday.

Joseph Laboard is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of 50-year-old Larry Matthews.

Charleston police say on Dec. 26, 2008, Laboard got into an argument with Matthews outside a home on Spence Drive on Johns Island.
