Man charged in murder, shooting that injured 3

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

North Charleston police officers arrested a 21-year-old man Wednesday night for his alleged role in the fatal shooting of a 57-year-old Hollywood man last weekend.

Police charged Arkeem Brown of North Charleston with murder, three counts of attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Brown is accused of killing 57-year-old Anthony Gailliard and injuring three others after a shooting on Elder Ave. last Saturday.

The other victims, two men and a woman, were rushed to the hospital. The condition of the victims are unknown at this time.

Brown will have a bond hearing at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. The incident remains under investigation and additional arrests are possible.

    A James Island family, hoping to catch their flight to Israel on Friday, is anxiously waiting for the Federal Aviation Administration to lift its ban. On Wednesday, the FAA extended the restriction of all U.S. flights to Tel Aviv for another 24 hours. The ban went into effect Tuesday after a rocket landed just a mile from Israel's busiest airport in Tel Aviv.
