A creative runner will have the chance to win $1,000 next week for having the best costume at the Bridge Run.

Participants have long-embraced the unofficial tradition of dressing in costume for the race.

Judging will be held on the stage at Marion Square at 10 a.m. and the winner will be presented with a big check.
