Charleston County Auditor not seeking re-election

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County Auditor Peggy Moseley says she has decided to not seek re-election.

Moseley will have served 20-years when her term ends.

Last year Moseley and her office battled with sending out tax bills on time, because of a glitch with a new software system.

Moseley was first elected Charleston County Auditor in 1992 and was re-elected in 1996, 2000, 2004 and again in 2008. She holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Charleston Southern University and a master's degree in business administration from Central Michigan University.
