Ramp closure expected at Hungryneck Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) -

The ramp from US-17 onto I-526 Westbound at Hungryneck Boulevard will be close from 9 p.m. on Monday until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

This temporary exit ramp closure is necessary for road crews to unload steel bridge girders at Hungryneck Boulevard.

If you're traveling in this area, please follow the detour signs along Mathis Ferry and Whipple Road to Interstate 526 westbound at Long Point Road.

    North Charleston police are investigating a reported shooting, according to Charleston County dispatchers.
