Still no suspects in downtown shooting

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police Department officials say no suspects have been identified following a shooting that left one man injured Saturday afternoon in downtown Charleston.

According to police, the 21-year-old male victim was driving a vehicle with two passengers. They were stopped at the traffic light on Romney Street at Meeting Street when a car came up behind them and someone from that vehicle fired several shots into the vehicle driven by the victim.

Police said the driver was the only one who was hurt. He was taken to MUSC with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate.
