MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - The Lowcountry's representative at this year's edition of "American Idol," Elise Testone, is safe for another week after a close call on Thursday night.
The Mt. Pleasant singer received good reviews from the judges for her performance of Lady Gaga's "You and I," but she still ended up in the bottom three, again.
In the end it was Jessica Sanchez who had the lowest number of votes but the judges chose to use their one remaining "save" on her.
That means two contestants will be going home next week.
