Goalkeeper Andrew Dykstra has joined the Charleston Battery on loan from Major League Soccer's D.C. United.  Dykstra spent the 2011 season with the Battery earning six shut-outs with a GAA of just .98 in 16 games played.   

Dykstra came to the Battery in 2011 after two years with Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire making seventeen appearances.  

A native of Woodbridge, Virginia, Dykstra, 6-4, 195 lbs., 25 yrs., played his college soccer at Virginia Commonwealth University.
