BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators are looking for an armed robbery suspect who stole between 600 to 800 pills from a drug store in Beaufort County Thursday night. The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to the Walgreens on 138 Okatie Center Blvd S. in reference to an armed robbery.
According to the store's staff and customers, a man with a backpack walked up to the pharmacy counter. He then took out a gun from the backpack and demanded all the stock for two drugs.
The pharmacist then handed between 600 to 800 pills of the two drugs.
Authorities describe the suspect as a white man, between 20 and 30 years old, 6'1", 165 pounds with slight facial hair. Witnesses say the man had black pants, black sweatshirt with a blue or gray T-shirt, tan hat and a gray sneakers.
