Man killed after semi collides with dune buggy

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

One man was killed Sunday night when an 18-wheeler slammed into a dune buggy on Highway 17-A near Moncks Corner.

According to the Berkeley County Coroner's Office, 27-year-old Marcus Waldoch was a passenger in the dune buggy and died at the scene. The driver of the buggy went to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the semi wasn't hurt.  

South Carolina Highway Patrol and the coroner's office are still investigating the deadly crash, which happened around 6 p.m.
