CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Traffic is starting to clear up after multiple wrecks in the eastbound lanes of I-26 made things difficult for commuters on Wednesday morning.
Two of the wrecks happened near the Ashley Phosphate Road exit, just before I-526. The most recent wreck was a minor one, while another wreck reported around 8:30 a.m. involved injuries.
Reports indicated two cars were sandwiched between two tractor-trailers.
The other wreck was just before the Highway 52 Connector, and the tow truck is preparing to leave the scene.
All wrecks have been cleared, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
