Amazon company moving into old North Charleston City Hall


The former five-story North Charleston City Hall is getting a new lease on life.

A company called Create Space, which specializes in on-demand publishing, is moving in.  It's part of the Amazon family has employs over 200 people.

Create Space currently resides in a building off Ashley Phosphate Road.  After about $2.5 million in renovations, they'll be ready to move into their new home.

North Charleston officials moved to the new City Hall across from Mall Drive in 2009.
