Summerville commits to building new skate park

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Summerville will soon be the site of a new skate park.

The town's Finance Committee voted this morning to spend up to $50,000 on a new skate park, according to Summerville Mayor Bill Collins.

Now all that is left is to find a location.

Mayor Collins says they are working with DD2 to acquire property in order to build the skate park near Spann Elementary School of Berlin G. Myers.
