BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Coroner's Office says following an autopsy, foul play is not suspected in the death of the inmate found at the Hill Finklea Detention Center on Wednesday.
Jason Stout, 32, of Moncks Corner, was found dead in his bunk around 10:25 a.m. Wednesday.
Coroner Bill Salisbury said Thursday no trauma was found on the body and foul play is not suspected. He also said the full results are pending toxicology analysis, which takes several weeks to return.
The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office and SLED are investigating the death. Stout was being held behind bars on a family court bench warrant.
