NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Two people are in custody after an argument led to a shooting Friday night on Prince and Taylor Streets in North Charleston.

The North Charleston Police Department was called to a shooting just before 10 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene they found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the stomach area. The victim was rushed to MUSC and his condition is unknown at this time.

During the investigation, police obtained information about two possible suspects whom they believed to be involved in the shooting. Authorities located 24-year-old Montreal Drayton at a house on Taylor Street and his brother 21-year-old Justin Drayton at a home on Piedmont Street.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Both suspects made an appearance before a bond judge Saturday morning. Montreal's bond was set at $150,000 and Justin's bond was set at $200,000.

Witnesses told police that the shooting incident stemmed from an ongoing argument between the victim and the suspects.
