NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The family of a North Charleston woman who disappeared seven years ago will host a balloon-release ceremony to mark her disappearance on Wednesday night.
Brandy Renee Hanna was 33 years old when she was last seen on May 20, 2005. Authorities say Hanna got a ride home from her job at Alex's Restaurant on Dorchester Road, and then spoke to her mother after she arrived at her apartment on Florida Avenue.
She has not been seen or heard from since then.
Tonight's balloon release will be held at Alex's Restaurant on Dorchester Road at 7 p.m.
