Seniors in Mt. Pleasant add classical music to their workout

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Seniors in Mount Pleasant added some music to their workout routines on Wednesday.

It's called conductor-cise, which is an exercise program inspired by classical music from Bach to Beethoven.

The creator of the program, Maestro David Dworkin, leads the classes with his baton.  He travels around the world teaching and says the classes help seniors stay active.

Wednesday's session was at Somerby of Mount Pleasant. Before leading the exercise classes, Dworkin was a conductor and musician.
