
The South Carolina Stingrays announced today their 2012-13 regular-season schedule. The 2012-13 season marks the Stingrays' 20th season of hockey in the Lowcountry.

The Stingrays kick off the season with Opening Night against the Gwinnett Gladiators on Friday, October 13 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.
This season, the Stingrays will face the Fort Wayne Komets, Evansville IceMen, Orlando Solar Bears and Ontario Reign for the first time in team history and host the Idaho Steelheads (Friday, January 25) at the North Charleston Coliseum for the first time. The last time the Steelheads and Stingrays met was in 2004 for two games in Boise, Idaho (March 5: 3-1 W, March 6: 4-2 W). The Stingrays will play 30 of their 36 total home games on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
The defending Kelly Cup champion Florida Everblades will visit the North Charleston Coliseum six times this season while the Stingrays travel to Estero, Florida five times.

Throughout the 2012-13 campaign, the Stingrays will host several popular theme nights including the return of Opening Night, Teddy Bear Toss, Pack the House Night, Pink in the Rink, Fan Appreciationand more. The complete promotional schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Stingrays regular-season schedule ends on Friday, March 29 against Greenville at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, South Carolina.
