GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Friends and family will hold a funeral Wednesday for the 69-year-old man whose body was found following an explosion and fire at a Goose Creek apartment.
Funeral services will be held for Joseph Raeth at the Divine Redeemer Catholic Church in Hanahan on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
Raeth is one of three people whose body was recovered after a fire at the Pine Harbour Apartment Complex in Goose Creek on Thursday. The coroner's office says authorities also found the bodies of 4-year-old Samuel Garbe and 19-year-old Morgan Abernathy.
The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating the fire and reported Monday that a meth lab was found at the location of the fire in Apartment D80, where the bodies of Abernathy and Garbe were recovered.
Authorities say Raeth lived next door.
Sheriff's office spokesman Dan Moon said investigators have questioned one man for the incident but he has since been released.
