Brett Gardner, OF, NY Yankees – 15-Day DL with a sore right elbow. The Holly Hill native was supposed to play his 2nd game with Charleston on a rehab assignment, but he had soreness in his elbow and he'll return to NY to be examined by doctors.  

Matt Wieters, C, Baltimore Orioles – 1-5 with an RBI (26) and a K in a 6-4 win over the Phillies. The Stratford alum is batting .245

Justin Smoak, 1B, Seattle Mariners – 1-4 with a run scored in an 8-3 loss to the Dodgers. The Goose Creek native is batting .225

Justin Greene, OF, Charlotte (Chicago White Sox) - Did not play in a 4-3 loss to Columbus

Mike Cisco, P, Reading (Philadelphia Phillies) – Did not pitch in a 7-2 win over Harrisburg

Reese Havens, 2B, Binghamton (NY Mets) – 2-6 with a HR (3), RBI (13), 2 runs scored and 2 K's in a 12-0 win over Trenton. The Bishop England alum is batting .173

John Murrian, C, Erie (Detroit Tigers) – Placed on DL with Sprained Right Knee

Chris McGuiness, 1B, Frisco (Texas Rangers) – 0-4 in a 9-4 loss to San Antonio. The James Island alum is batting .234

Bryan Altman, IF, San Antonio (San Diego Padres) – 4-4 with a double (3), 3 RBI (6) and a run scored in a 9-4 win over Frisco. The Summerville alum upped his average to .245

Asher Wojciechowski, P, Dunedin (Toronto Blue Jays) – Pitched 5.2 innings giving up 6 hits, 1 run with 2 walks and 2 K's in a 7-1 win over Clearwater. The Beaufort alum picked up the win (3-2) and lowered his ERA to 4.87
