WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC) -
Two suspected gang members were sentenced on Friday for a drive-by shooting that killed three people including a 20-month-old girl.
Shaquille O'Neal Drayton and Deshaun Quatrell Holmes pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter. Both were facing several charges which included three counts of murder each.
On Thursday, they were sentenced to five years each in prison. Both men were arrested in a massive round up of suspected gang members in Walterboro in July of 2010.
That sweep happened after a five month long investigation by local, state and federal agents.
Investigators say the suspects in that sweep, including Drayton and Holmes, are behind a deadly drive-by that happened in November of 2009.
Nine people were shot in the incident. Three of them died, including a 20-month-old girl.
