A husband and wife have been arrested and are facing the most serious of child abuse charges.
Michael Browning, 36, is accused of sexually abusing two children under the age of 11. Deputies say his wife, Kelly Browning, knew about the abuse and did nothing about it. She's charged with unlawful neglect of a child.
Investigators say when they responded to a domestic disturbance call June 11 at the couple's home, one child said Michael forced her to perform sexual acts.
Another girl at the scene also said she had told Kelly about the abuse over six years ago, deputies said.
Both Brownings are in jail awaiting bond hearings.
