NEW YORK (NY1/CNN) - The family of a New York City teenager says an attack by bullies left the son blind in his right eye.
Kardin Ulysse, 14, says he was attacked at Roy Mann Junior High School on June 5, 2012.
He had two surgeries and is expected to have more.
Ulysse says his attackers yelled anti-gay slurs during the beating.
His attorney says even though Ulysse is not gay, the actions of his attackers may be considered a hate crime.
