College of Charleston men's basketball players Jordan Scott (Darlington, S.C.) and James Carlton (Winterville, N.C.) have been released from their scholarships.
Scott, a 6-foot-1 sophomore guard, played in 29 games during the 2011-12 season with 14 starts. He averaged 3.8 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. Scott was released in March by the previous coaching staff.
