CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police say a third suspect wanted in connection with a June 9 armed robbery in downtown Charleston has surrendered to police.
Lakeith Edwards, 25, has been charged with armed robbery for his role in an incident near Pitt Street and Montagu Street, Charleston Police Department spokesman Charles Francis said.
The other two suspects, 22-year-old Tavia Wiggins and 21-year-old Raymond Eurie Jr., surrendered earlier this month after they were caught on surveillance cameras.
Police say victim was sitting in his vehicle about 11:10 p.m. when Eurie and Edwards opened the driver side door and passenger side door and robbed the victim. Wiggins stood near the vehicle while the victim was being robbed, according to investigators.
All three suspects are being held in the Charleston County Detention Center.
