WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - One person was killed Wednesday evening in Williamsburg County after authorities say a log truck and a pickup truck collided with each other.

The Williamsburg County Coroner's Office says 19-year-old Rhyadric Nakylin Graham was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Graham was driving a pickup truck that collided with a log truck. The driver of the log truck is okay.

The Williamsburg fire chief says the deadly accident caused a major traffic back up near Highway 521 in Salters between Highway 377 and Taft Road.

Authorities say the highway was closed for seven hours while the crews cleared the scene.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
