Wando Pitcher Michael Carpin got his college commitment out of the way early deciding to head to Georgia on Thursday. 

The rising senior had an impressive Junior year for the Warriors going 5-2 with a 2.02 ERA. He also had 54 strikeouts in just 45 innings pitched for a Wando team that went 20-6 and reached the district playoffs in 2012.
