Downtown gearing up for 'Second Sunday on King Street'

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, King Street is gearing up for "Second Sunday."

The monthly event shuts down the main shopping thoroughfare, letting you walk around and enjoy restaurants and shopping.

So come on out and enjoy the fun!

Lower King Street will be closed to cars from Queen to Calhoun Sunday afternoon.

    Two Charleston men have pleaded guilty to separate charges of distributing heroin and distributing fentanyl. Samuel Bobby Wright, 67, sold heroin from a residence just north of Septima Clark Parkway on dates in June and July 2017, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Jamie Schoen.
