American League 


Brett Gardner, OF, NY Yankees – 60-Day DL with a sore right elbow. 

Matt Wieters, C, Baltimore Orioles – 1-4 with 2 K's in a 6-0 loss to the Angels. The Stratford alum heads to the All-Star game batting .247 with 12 HR's and 44 RBI

Justin Smoak, 1B, Seattle Mariners – 1-5 with a double (6) and 2 K's in a 2-1 loss to Oakland in 13 innings. The Goose Creek native enters the All-Star break batting .203 with 11 HR's and 34 RBI



International League


Justin Greene, OF, Charlotte (Chicago White Sox) - Did not play in a 6-4 win over Norfolk

Mike Cisco, P, Lehigh Valley (Philadelphia Phillies) – Pitched 1 inning giving up 0 hits, 0 runs with 1 walk and 2 K's in a 7-1 win over Rochester. The Wando alum got the win (2-0) and lowered his Triple-A ERA to 1.00. Cisco didn't pitch in game 1 of a doubleheader, a 1-0 loss. 


Eastern League
