Wreck cleared on Don Holt Bridge, I-526 traffic moving again

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Traffic is moving again after a wreck in the eastbound lanes of the Don Holt Bridge caused delays on I-526 on Monday morning.

South Carolina Department of Transportation cameras shows the wreck happened in the far right lane on the bridge between North Charleston and Daniel Island around 8:30 a.m.

For about half an hour, eastbound traffic was backed up past the I-26 interchange to Aviation Avenue, while westbound traffic also slowed considerably.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, no one was injured in the wreck.

    Two Charleston men have pleaded guilty to separate charges of distributing heroin and distributing fentanyl. Samuel Bobby Wright, 67, sold heroin from a residence just north of Septima Clark Parkway on dates in June and July 2017, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Jamie Schoen.
