Bridal boutique to give away dresses to military brides

A Lowcountry bridal boutique is showing its appreciation for our military by giving away free bridal dresses to the brides.

The Bridal House of Charleston is joining together with Brides Across America to offer free wedding gowns to qualified brides tomorrow, July 11. This is the third year the Bridal House of Charleston has hosted the event.

They say it's a great way to give back to those who serve our country.

"We just can't wait for the brides to come in," says Cindy Musser, an employee at the Bridal House. "Last year there were a lot of tears and a lot of laughter, and we enjoyed it.

To qualify for one of the 45 dresses that will be given away, brides or their fiancés must be on active duty in the military, or either currently deployed or deployed within the last five years to a war zone or Japan.

The even it first come first serve, just make sure you bring a copy of deployment papers for you or your fiancé.
