Oprah Winfrey announced her arrival to Charleston for an interview with Stephen Colbert on Twitter on Tuesday evening.

Around 5:45 p.m., the media mogul tweeted,"Hello lady in Charleston S.C. In the white ford. Yes that was ME waving to u. In town to interview Stephen Colbert."

She was only in town for a few hours though, as she tweeted later Tuesday evening she was back on a plane.

Colbert, best known as the host of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report, grew up in Charleston.
