Bond set for man accused of assaulting shoppers

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

Javier Ramirez-Vaca is still behind bars after a judge set his bond at $15,000 Wednesday.

Police in Bluffton arrested him in connection with the assault of two women at local stores.

The first report came from a woman who says she was shopping at Kroger when someone grabbed her inappropriately. Bluffton police investigators said video from store surveillance show Ramirez-Vaca. Another victim reported that the same suspect followed her around the Publix supermarket.

Police said they believe there could be more victims.
